Merrin Joinery can make your casement windows to match original designs. For modern buildings we usually recommend storm-proof windows. For older properties flush-casements can be more appropriate. We always pay attention to architectural details like thin wooden glazing-bars, mouldings and window ledges.
In addition to side opening casements, windows can have top-hung opening lights, or pivot openings . Our standard furniture for casement windows is brass with lockable catches, but we can supply alternatives.
All our windows are made to last with traditional mortice & tennon joints. They can be supplied fully spray finished with a minimum of three coats of paint or protective woodstain. Windows are usually supplied with 24mm double-glazed units or single glazing.
